Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about automation, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and implementing best-in-class DevOps practices that accelerate software delivery. You will work closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to build scalable systems, streamline deployment pipelines, and ensure the reliability and performance of our production environments.


Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure & Cloud Management

  • Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools.
  • Monitor system performance and optimize cloud resources for reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

2. CI/CD Pipeline Development

  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI.
  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to ensure rapid and safe delivery of features.
  • Improve release processes with automated testing, environment verification, and rollback strategies.

3. Automation & Scripting

  • Develop scripts and tools in Python, Bash, or PowerShell to automate repetitive operational tasks.
  • Build automated workflows for system provisioning, application deployment, and infrastructure monitoring.

4. Containerization & Orchestration

  • Implement and manage Docker-based containerized environments.
  • Work with orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS to support large-scale distributed systems.
  • Maintain Helm charts, operators, and cluster monitoring tools.

5. Monitoring, Logging & Reliability Engineering

  • Establish observability best practices using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Datadog, or New Relic.
  • Configure alerting systems and dashboards to ensure proactive issue detection.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and perform root cause analysis for production incidents.

6. Security & Compliance

  • Implement DevSecOps principles throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Manage secrets, credentials, and access control using tools like Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, or SSM.
  • Perform infrastructure hardening, vulnerability scanning, and compliance monitoring.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of Linux systems administration and networking fundamentals.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP).
  • Expertise in automation, configuration management, and CI/CD tooling.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar).

Preferred

  • Experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture and service mesh technologies.
  • Knowledge of GitOps tools (ArgoCD, Flux).
  • Background in performance tuning, cost optimization, and distributed systems.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, or similar.
